MAKE ROOM FOR SURPRISE

Less clicking.
More making.

MidAI lives beside your DAW and turns natural-language prompts into melodies you can immediately play, edit and arrange. Shape the mood with controls, regenerate when you want a new direction, and keep the parts that feel like you.

FROM A SPARK TO A PHRASE

Start with a feeling.
Follow it somewhere new.

Some days the melody is already in your head. Other days there is only a mood, a key, or the wish to hear something you would not have thought of alone. MidAI gives each kind of beginning somewhere to go.

01 / GIVE IT A DIRECTION

Describe the shape of an idea

Choose a key, scale, octave and phrase length, then ask for a melody, bassline, chords or arpeggio. Or switch to prompt-only and let a line like “a hopeful theme after the rain” lead the way. Spicy, Space, Complexity and Density help you find the right amount of surprise.

02 / MAKE IT YOURS

Keep the notes in your hands

Every generation is editable MIDI. Hear it in the built-in preview, save a .mid file, or drag it straight from the piano roll onto a DAW track. A result can be a finished phrase, a bass foundation, or just the first few notes that unlock your next move.

03 / TAKE ANOTHER PATH

Transform without starting over

Bring in any MIDI and reshape its mood, brightness or complexity. Add a bass part, re-quantize to a key or let each bar follow its own inferred chords. Live changes let you audition a new direction immediately; revert brings the original back.

SEE THE IDEA TAKE SHAPE

A little direction.
A lot of possibility.

Try a random prompt when the blank page wins, let AI Enhance give your own words more musical detail, then check how closely the generated phrase follows the brief. Keep exploring until a phrase feels like yours.

Bring your own AI provider key. MidAI connects to the provider you choose. A MidAI licence removes Free mode limits on generating, saving and dragging MIDI; the sound preview and MIDI editing tools are available in both modes.
